When giving money to the organization your friend is riding a bike/walking/running/marathon hula-hooping to support, don’t let the website publish your donation total in that scrolling box on the side (kind of tacky, right?).   Unless you’re giving over $1000 (or maybe $500), in which case you are awesome and the extent of your generosity should be known by all.
